exactEarth Announces Small Vessel Tracking Contract with the Government of Ghana

CAMBRIDGE, ON, Aug. 16, 2016 - exactEarth Ltd. (TSX: XCT) (the "Company"), announces that it has been selected by the Fisheries Commission (West Africa Regional Fisheries Programme), an agency of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development (MOFAD) of the Government of Ghana, for the provision of Satellite AIS data services as well as a small vessel tracking solution. The contract value is in a range of $1.0-$2.0 million for a 12 month period and will enable Ghana to acquire the technology necessary to monitor its expansive coastlines and deter illegal fishing in its national waters.

(TSX: XCT), the leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, announced today the successful launch of the M3MSat (Maritime Monitoring and Messaging Microsatellite) by the government of Canada. M3M contains a high performance AIS satellite payload and exactEarth has exclusive license with the government of Canada to commercialize the AIS data produced from the satellite.  

Small Vessel Tracking Trials a Success in South Africa

Harwell, Oxon – June 21, 2016 – exactEarth Europe Limited, a UK subsidiary of exactEarth Ltd, the leading provider of Satellite AIS data services, recently successfully concluded the main part of its ‘South Africa Safety Initiative for Small Vessels’ (OASIS) project – a small vessel tracking trial with the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA), part-funded by the UK Space Agency (UKSA) under its ‘International Partnership Space Programme’ (IPSP).
